July 10, 2002 - Power
Steering? |
| |
Mercedes Benz Credit of Canada
approached me recently, to offer me 4 options for the end of the
lease. Although I was almost ready to settle for the financing
possibility, I am re-considering and I am pretty sure, that I will
simply return the vehicle.... even better, I returned it this
evening (22:00) with the Vehicle Return Statement. By turning the
wheel to get into the only free parking space, the power steering pump started to make noise
again. |
| |
With the "Vehicle Return
Statement" I expect now serious trouble.. Remember, when I mentioned
on page 1: you should never trust a car salesman?.. The paint on the
vehicle is really badly chipped. But not, that I was careless or was
driving like a maniac behind gravel trucks...
these chips can be found not only at the front.. but on top of the
hood and even on the tail gate. |

Lone Star Inc.
(Calgary) never told me, what was wrong with the car, when I picked
it up. The warranty-invoice arrived on August 9th, 2002 and it was
not the power steering, but the alternator bearing. This was fixed
on July 26th. 2002. |

Believe it or not - 15 days later I
got my car back |
