(Tuesday) |

I could not line up anybody before
the Thanksgiving long weekend - so the delivery had to be done on
Tuesday. |
| |
From the very morning I was waiting
for the fellow who suppose to witness the hand-over.. it was 4:15pm
before I could leave my house, arriving at Lone Star at 4:30 sharp. |
| |
Wayne, the sales manager saw me, and I
handed the keys over to him. He in return told me, that he will give
them to John, the used car manager, so that he can have a
"walk-around". Ok.. I went outside, unscrewed my license plate, put
it into my ride's car and waited... and waited ... and waited... |
| |
20 minutes later I
went inside to look for John.. well, he had a pleasant conversation
with a parts-guy.. and by the looks of it, he did not want to be
disturbed. After another 10 minutes he got up, to have a
walk-around. |
| |
He marked a bunch of things down..
Well the windshield was cracked.. I knew that.. but what about the
little cracks.. they had to go on there too.. now I read, that the
hood had to be repaired - there was no dent in the hood!! that were
the rock chips I was complaining from day 1. This was not a
walk-around this was taking the car apart.. I had to look in a
different direction.. |
| |
... it took a while.. so I decided to
grab a smoke from the 'pick-up'-car.. and just when I opened the
door, I saw John taking off with the lemon..
|
| |
Sorry - but I could not stand it
any longer. I decided to take off. Obviously these guys are
measuring their merchandise differently: |
| |
The MB representative tells me, these chips are normal
The used car manager says, the hood has to be repaired
Fortunately this web site gave me a
lot of support and there are a bunch of nice fellows out there, they
would go to court with me as a witness. |
