  July 26, 2002 (Friday)
From the early morning to the late afternoon I was all over the place in Calgary - and I was actually surprised, that the A/C was still holding up - and the overall road handling was far better as before - they must have done more things than what they told me.

During a late lunch at my house, Mr. Ian Howis from Mercedes-Benz in Vancouver phoned me on my mobile. He seemed to be surprised, that nobody from Mercedes-Benz contacted me yet (beside Ms/Mrs. Kennedy from Mercedes-Benz customer relations - and that only once by email). I expressed my concern, that nobody from Mercedes-Benz actually had a look at the vehicle - and that I never had the opportunity to get my point across. Mr. Ian "X" promised me, that he will contact me next week, during his next visit to Calgary - I hope, he is keeping his word as well as Mr. Smith so far.

Shortly after I hung up, a customer came; I could not spend much time with him because I had some appointments lined up. We left together.. and while I was backing up, he cranked down his window and told me, that the right brake light was not working - wasn't this checked on June 20th?... yes!!

Ah-well... I hope this will not take much longer!
During a sunny day, you open sometimes the sunroof.. The rattling which came from the inner visor, is actually getting worse.. so I closed the roof again... let's see if the weekend has any surprises.
