Transmission |
| |
Not that I want to make this a big
issue - but waiting in the service department of Lone Star Inc.
(Calgary) I cold not overhear a complaint of a middle-aged lady, who
made a big fuzz out of the fact, that the transmission was running
kind of rough, while the car is still cold. |
| |
... and I was thinking by
myself: "Lady, if that is the only problem you got... you got none!"
|
| |
Sure enough, during colder times -
basically from October until March/April, the transmission shifts at
fairly high RPMs and it shifts into the next gear kind of hard, you
really notice it. This goes away after about 1 to 2 km of driving.
This little flaw got me into the habit to wait a little longer
merging into the first 2 intersections, once I leave our property. |

I got used to the way the
transmission has to warm up - but I also thought: "If I would bring
the car to Lone Star every time I notice something like this lady, I
would never be able to drive it." |
