Muffler |

Having the car for a week between
2 repairs while waiting for parts, I was driving along the concrete
dividers on Glenmore trail, I noticed the typical noise of a muffler
that is going, thinking somebody has a repair ahead of him.
Accelerating I noticed it's not somebody else - IT'S ME!! |

This noise was
increasing by the kilometer - a sound I did not hear that often
after Calgary got out of the recession. |

Getting back to our place, a
neighbour was about to leave; she could not avoid to ask: "Are you
driving a 12-year old Chevy, or what?" |

There were actually 3 more days I
had to drive before I could bring it back in to Lone Star Inc.
(Calgary) - but I preferred to drop it off the next day - I was sick
and tired of driving this lemon. |

During the last
repair, Lone Star Inc. (Calgary) found out, that it was not the
muffler but that the catalytic converter cracked. They replaced it
under warranty at 43,000km. |
