A Few Little Things
  Heating Problems
Fortunately I drive mostly within the city limits and mostly by myself. Only twice a year I have to go to Banff and Lake Louise for network maintenance, upgrades and web site updates. On one of these trips, I took 3 visitors from Germany, while my wife was driving the van with the rest of them to Lake Louise.

It was a lousy cold winter day. The heater had trouble to get the car warm inside - more to get warm feet, I had to direct all the air to the bottom, what resulted that the windows fogged up, directing the air to the windows, we gold cold feet.

Making ourselves comfortable during this trip was out of the question - we had to wear the heavy winter gear and we had to wear warm boots.
I heard from other ML-owners, that a new heating system in the 2000 models was one of the big improvements. Darned - do I always have to get stuff what is failing, what is not sufficient, what needs upgrading some parts, what needs the manufacturer to re-organize their stock?
