  The MB 280 SE
  The North-American headlights made all the difference. This was a great family vehicle - and at the same time fairly fast on the Autobahn. 
  When the new model came out - it was time for a change again.. I had no repairs - just the standard service and 2 sets of front brakes... and while I was negotiating the sale to a Canadian immigrant from BC and he was test-driving the vehicle, the oil pump went at 178,000km.. what the heck... I paid for it - it was DM 189.00.
   

Here came the newer 280SE
